    Quick ways to support local, family-owned businesses in Western North Carolina
    ShopWNC is a website created by communities in Western North Carolina to support our family-owned businesses in the wake of Hurricane Helene, and allow those in need to know what places are open to get the supplies and resources we need.  This is a grassroots effort by community volunteers and we hope to unify our small business communities in Western North Carolina.

    Please consider visiting these businesses or supporting those who have online sales and gift cards.  If you are a community or business in the affected areas, you can create a listing for either on this page.  If you are a community group such as a Main Street organization, Chamber of Commerce, or even local government, and would like to import your businesses into this site, please consider sending this to your member businesses to create a listing.  Also, you can send an email to [email protected] to request a template and instructions for downloading your business information so we can import it for you.

    There is always something to do like attend a free concert at Bridge Park, take the kids to the town pool or Potent Park (a playground designed by kids), a Heritage Photo Walk, Garden Walk, and Art Walk.

    Nestled between the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Sylva, NC is the hub of cultural and recreational resources for our community.  We are the center of independent businesses and services, unique restaurants, and quality events for families and visitors.
