What makes Sylva great is our volunteers who work tirelessly to improve the quality and aesthetic of town, advocate for public art, plan events and promotions, and economic development strategies. ShopWNC is a website created by communities in Western North Carolina to support our family-owned businesses in the wake of Hurricane Helene, and allow those in need to know what places are open to get the supplies and resources we need. This is a grassroots effort by community volunteers and we hope to unify our small business communities in Western North Carolina.
