NORTH CAROLINA SALES TAX ID NUMBER

Vendors from the expanded Appalachian area are encouraged to apply and participate in our festival.  The State of North Carolina requires that all festival vendors obtain a North Carolina Sales Tax Number and display it in their booth on the day of the festival.  You can obtain a free North Carolina Sales Tax Number online by visiting the North Carolina Department of Revenue Website. If you already have a North Carolina Sales Tax Identification Number, there is no need to re-apply.

We have reached capacity for vendors for GUTM 2024! We appreciate everyone who has submitted applications for Sylva's largest festival. Any additional vendor applications received will be placed on a waiting list. Emails will be sent out in the near future confirming those received and the status of their booth. We look forward to seeing everyone on April 27th!  Please note that we have reached capacity on all jewelry and pottery vendors and will not be accepting any additional applications in those categories.  Local for-profit businesses can participate by becoming festival sponsors.  Please visit the sponsor tab for more information.

The GUTM Festival has implemented a new process for Non-Profit Organizations.  Please complete the online application below. Nonprofit Organizations will be notified regarding the status of their application by April 1, 2023.

Food vendor spaces are reserved for full-service food vendors and are subject to inspection by the Environmental Health Department.  If you are selling ice cream, popcorn, snow cones, or similar items, please complete an Artisan Vendor Application.

Please attach an itemized menu of the food items you plan to sell at the festival. The festival planning team works very hard to avoid duplicate food vendors, so please adhere to the menu provided on this application.
